June Edition // We've crossed a chasm

Read by 23,051 Experts building Unignorable Luxury Brands

Hola Reader

It's the second Tuesday of the month and May was a certified banger. Euro summer has begun and I hope wherever you are, you're having the most successful year of your life.

What I'm thinking about

We've crossed a chasm lately. Like the energy in the air has changed.

We're becoming more conscious about where we place our attention. Not just the online/offline question, but something deeper: are we still playing by the same rules that have always governed how this is done, or are we jumping headfirst into the void and trusting it all works out?

Arsenal fans: you know exactly what I mean. Trusting the void was basically a lifestyle until recently!

But seriously — health, wellness, focus, attention, the fundamentals. They're rising back to the surface as summer arrives. The temptation is to get swept along with it, which is fine, until it isn't.

Because the work of building something that actually changes culture doesn't pause for a heatwave.

What I'm working on

Offline is the New Luxury is running and the cohort is genuinely epic. Some serious heavyweights in there — people who've been building for years and are finally doing the work of making their brand work without social media. The progress in the first weeks has been something to watch. Hola to everyone on week 4 🤍

And quietly, in the background, the Unignorable update is getting closer. The next level — for the people who are ready to stop being mid-tier and are ready to make the brand luxury, baby! Worth your attention

This came out of my journaling earlier this week. I posted it as a Note and 52 people liked it, which tells me it landed somewhere real:

"
Don't ask: what business do I want to build?
Ask: what belief do I want a million people to hold?

That reframe changes everything about how you make decisions. Your offer, your writing, your pricing, who you say yes to. All of it becomes legible when you're anchored in the belief first.
